As a young Indian-American playwright, I like to write about people who are unable to tell their stories themselves. These could be the homeless people you pass on your way to your train, the young person in a religious cult, or the immigrant nanny for affluent UES-types.

My favorite themes to write about are loneliness, isolation, class, and finding one's place in the world -- things I've had to reckon with and explore in my own life.
